Top Shooter Games on iOS in New Zealand: Q4 2024 Insights

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in New Zealand saw significant activity in the shooter games category. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five games during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. experienced notable fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at $26.4K in the week of December 23. Weekly downloads showed a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.8K in the same week, while weekly active users decreased from 5.7K at the start of the quarter to 3.4K by the end.

Tencent's PUBG MOBILE demonstrated a steady revenue stream, with a peak of $21K in the week of November 25. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 935 in the week of December 23. Weekly active users maintained a consistent level, closing the quarter at approximately 6.3K.

Squid Game: Unleashed, launched by Netflix, Inc., saw a rapid increase in downloads, reaching 10K in the last week of December. Active users also grew significantly, from 1.1K to 7K by the quarter's end.

Camo Sniper by SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD had a steady performance in terms of active users, ending the quarter with 6.7K. Downloads, however, were modest, peaking at 719 at the start of the quarter.

Finally, Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile saw a consistent number of active users, closing the quarter with 4.4K. Downloads remained stable, with a slight increase to 307 in the week of December 23.
